Laura (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#141074).

Laura’s approach to therapy is to create an open and nonjudgmental, supportive environment. Working from an integrative approach, Laura encourages growth and acceptance and supports her clients in this process. Using patience and compassion, Laura assists clients in challenging themselves to make positive changes in their lives.

Laura offers sessions in person in Brentwood and via telehealth.

Enki Health Services, Boyle Heights Youth

At Enki Health Services, Laura provided trauma-informed individual psychotherapy for children and adolescents ages 6-20. Empowering, validating kids, and teaching survival skills was a huge part of her work. Laura also provided psychosocial rehabilitation/collateral support to parents and caregivers. Laura led group therapy for high risk teens and social skills for children 7-10.

Partnerships to Uplift Communities, Los Angeles

At Partnerships to Uplift Communities, Laura was an on-site therapist working at a charter middle school in Los Angeles. She used art, music, and mindfulness as an integrative approach to psychotherapy. Laura co-facilitated a weekly self-esteem group for 8th grade girls.
